I'm embarrassed to ask this but I don't have a tight relationship with my mom or my dad. So would i be the only one on moms weekend and dads weekend without my parents being there. I don't want to feel lonely or left out ya know?

Nope! The events will need sober monitors and you get points for it so most girls who don't have parents coming will sober monitor!

I don't have a great relationship with my mom and also am from a city 600 miles away from Columbia. My mom never came to mom's weekend and there were others in the same situation. It really is only an issue when you live in the house anyway. Besides, some of my friends were pretty embarrassed to see their moms drunk and making a fool of themselves trying to be young again.

The year I lived in the house I was the co-chair for the brunch and was involved. I'm glad my mom wasn't there. Lots of hungover older women.
