what is suicide?

Usually you'll have three houses on pref day and you rank them all. But ranking them all means that you're willing to take a bid from any house. So suiciding is also known as a "single option preference" where you only rank one house, leave the other two off your bid card and hope you get in. It's VERY risky, I don't advise it.
