Like honestly? Aren't there any houses that are just cool and chill? That can party and keep up grades? Sounds like pi phi is the only place I'll fit in.

And you better quit thinking it's all your decision. The houses have more say in where you will end up than you do. If you act disinterested in the above houses I guarantee they will cut you. There are plenty of pnms interested in all of these houses to fill a pledge class so you better be a sure thing at another house before you go disrespecting these chapters or you will be bidless.

Good luck with that.... It's called mutual selection but in reality sororities basically have all the power until pref at which point you gain more power. But they're basically choosing you, the only way your opinion factors in is if you get more invites than there are slots. However getting invited to all your #1 ranked houses doesn't happen very often so chances are you'll revisit some or all of your bottom houses, or not visit the max number of houses each day.
Maybe you should try actually visiting the houses before deciding who's boring, uptight, or melodramatic. They'll surprise you.

I really didn't do any research ahead of rush but did get as many recs as I could find. I wasn't a legacy. I felt lukewarm about most of the houses during the first couple of days, but from the very first visit I clicked w one house. My mom called and I went on and on about how much I liked it. I had houses where my brother's friends were recently graduated from, but I didn't feel comfortable. others might have been ok. I got that house where I clicked-w knowing no one in the house and no recs. Sometimes you just know where you belong.... just wait until you go.

Kappas are ALL OVER this site talking up their house. How do I know? Because there isn't a non-Kappa in the world who would be that enthusiastic about that sorority. It is pretty much made up of women who don't want to be there, and not they are trying much too hard to convince us otherwise. I love sorority pride, but, really, give it a rest.

Sounds like you ought to actually go through recruitment and see if these ideas you've gotten from a gossip website are actually true? Not the best way to do your research so far . . .
