due date for letter of recs

Every sorority will have their own deadline, but seriously, if you think they aren't necessary, that really isn't true. The easiest way a house can make early cuts is grades and lack of rec. Getting a rec tells the chapter you're serious and you're in it for the long haul, not just something you got talked into doing. Mizzou has the second largest recruitment class behind Alabama. You should plan to get a rec for almost EVERY house, yes even the mid and some lower tiers. If you only get a few recs for a few houses, you could easily be cut or just overlooked. Get them sent tomorrow to get your pic up on the hallway posters.

Do it now. Have them submitted at least several days before rush begins.

Should already be in the mail, and many sororities REQUIRE a rec to get a bid... They will only bend over backwards to find them for a few choice girls.... But the top girls are usually smart enough to get them on their own.
