zeta legacy
by: PNMI'm a Zeta legacy and would love to join the so sorry both my mom and sister are. After reading this website I'm scared that it isn't a good idea but I want to share the same things my mom and sister did. Is the rumors and stereotypes true? I know to take everything with a grain of salt but unlike the other sororities Zeta seems to get hit on more. Should I forget about being a Zeta?

Zeta is a fine house with a stellar history on this campus. It just happens to be the goat-du-jour on this website. But that's OK. Not too long ago it was Phi Mu, then Sigma. Two years ago AXO was the victim and PiPhi always seems to be a target because some people think its members aren't rah-rah enough and hold it up to some preconceived, impossible standard. And let's not get started on GPhi. So go through rush and make up your own mind. To join a house you share with your sister and mother is a rare thing. Oh, and it also seems that the anti-Zeta nut is particularly and embarrassingly active on this site. You can tell who she is because she always gives herself 26 thumbs up. That, by definition is pathetic. So don't believe anything she says because the rest of us sure don't. She's just a sad soul.

I'm not a Zeta but my cousin joined last year and she's beautiful and smart and I was sooo sad that she didn't choose my "top mid tier" house. She felt wanted and comfortable and happy there. I wish people on here would just acknowledge that Zeta is a great house that makes a lot of girls feel at home. Not everyone felt a warm vibe at Tri Delt , Pi Phi or ChiO. Accept that not everyone wants to be top tier.

You're delusional if you think there's just one person behind it. And you're the one who seems obsessive if you're watching that closely to how many "thumbs up" a particular post has.
Anyways, would I join zeta? No. But thats not to say you shouldn't. Are the rumors true? Maybe, maybe not. Even if they are, maybe you could be the difference that house needs to get them out of their slump, ya know? Don't ever write a house off because of a stereotype. And when you do go through rush and you find out maybe they're not a good fit for you after all, it's ok too. You're mom and sis will understand. Don't feel pressured to join a house you don't feel comfortable in. You're in college now, time to make your own decisions and stop doing what people want you to do and thinking what they want you to think.
