should i even bother rushing if i have a low gpa

My unweighted GPA is low but I was in advanced classes and such. Do they look at that or just say "well she has a low GPA she's out". Should I even rush?

You should have a weighted GPA from taking advanced classes so that your GPA won't seem as low. Use that one.
