GPhi is one of the least expensive houses. If you are worried about money then GPhi will be the least strenuous on your bank account. But it's still going to be in between 600-1000 dollars. My advice is to not worry about the money and worry about having a good rush week.

I know other schools post the breakdown of the first semester on the PHA site. I think that would be very helpful to those of us who plan to pay for the sorority ourselves. I wouldn't make a choice based only on money, but don't want to be blind-sided by unexpected fees and then have to de-pledge or something awful like that. We know it costs money. We are prepared for that, but I would love to know more than a general guesstimate personally. My parents will not be paying for dues.

That's pretty insensitive. Even though this girl is showing signs of limited intellect and judgment, she has a very real concern about money. She is asking for real information here, and a breezy retort that her highest priority should be having a good rush week smacks of someone who has never been responsible for their own finances. You probably don't have a care in the world financially because daddy takes care of that. Money worries are VERY REAL THINGS.
