not joining a fraternity unitil 2nd semester?
by: Incoming freshmanWould you guys recommend waiting or is it a bad thing to do? It's mainly because I don't want to live in house first semester, but I also just want to be able to get into the rhythm of college first. However, a semester is a decent amount of time and I feel like I wouldn't want to wait that long to go greek. What are your opinions?

You know you don't have to live in house as a pledge in most houses. I know of 2/33 that for sure require it. I'd honestly just try and get a bid for fall. I know so many guys who say they want to wait a semester, but then complain about how they don't do anything, or party during that time. Also if you rush spring you have to wait a whole 3 months to gain benefits of being an active in the next school year. Pledge in fall and experience full fledged fraternity life 2nd semester

Haha homecoming "hazing".... If that's hazing, then having an internship and being the new guy at work who has to do all the crap that your co-workers who have been there longer than you don't want to do should be illegal and punishable in correspondence to the word "hazing" 99.9% of kids don't know what hazing truly is at this school.
