recs
by: 2016I know this is suuuuuuper early, but when should I start sending in recs if I want to rush next fall (2016)?

Okay, let's not act like its hard to get into Mizzou. No, I don't "want to be a Tri Delt too." I simply like being prepared. I acknowledged that I was extremely early in asking the question. But I know how busy senior year can get and I didn't want to miss some deadline that I didn't know about. No need to bite my head off.

It's not difficult to get into Mizzou, but it is difficult to do well. And if you want a challenge, try being one of a relative handful of girls who get into a top house. Will you make grade cuts? Are you sure? Do you have a 3.7 or above with lots of AP classes, leadership positions, volunteer activities and more? If not, you have some work to do and you might start this summer.

If you have just finished your junior year of high school and are already obsessing about sorority recs, you really have skewed priorities. There are plenty of things that are more important in life. Get your priorities straight and make your life stand for something.

Maybe once you graduate you should do that. Believe it or not, several people change their minds on schools their senior year.. Just chill and enjoy it. Sororities are more concerned with this upcoming recruitment, hoco, grades, littles, and greek week so you're not going to be a priority to them at least until the spring semester is coming to a close.

It was a rhetorical question asking if you already got in. And if you have an attitude like " it's easy" then you're life needs to be reevaluated. Yah, mizzou isn't no Ivy League , but if you make comments like that, maybe you should go to a more challenging school. Now go read ur summer reading

Okay so it's absolutely not bad to be considering gathering recs for sororities yet. ESPECIALLY if you want a few recs for each house. I didnt start looking for recs until the spring of my senior year though. Just kind of make a list of who to ask right now. I would say do not send them in until end of May. If you send them in any earlier they might get lost. Sending them in in June and July of 2016 is your best bet.
