signed my younger sis up for rush

by: Sneaky

My baby sis was being stubborn about recruitment and I don't want her to regret not rushing, so I took the liberty of signing her up myself in secret. Getting her transcript from her myzou was a challenge, but I got it. Even got her recs written and sent in. I know it sounds terrible, but I want her to give being a Greek a chance before writing it off... I'll tell her next week what I did...

Emotional catharsis. It was kinda irrelevant to you all I guess

And I'm sure she'll have a great attitude when she goes through. You should have saved your money. If she isn't enthusiastic about being Greek, we don't want her. And the real tragedy is if she takes a spot from someone who really did want to be Greek. Shame on you.

This could be so bad for your sister. So what she doesn't want to rush this year? As her sister you should respect that. Second, since you signed her up she is registered and if she chooses not to show up, then she gets cut from houses all together. If she chooses later down the road to COB or formal rush some houses will have noted that and she will have a lot less of a chance to even be greek.

I bet this didn't even happen. It's probably just another ploy to create a drama ridden topic.

Someone who doesn't want to rush taking up a spot for someone who would die to be in that house

This is complete nonsense. No one "takes up a spot." Quota is set based on the number of women who go through recruitment. It's not a set number of spots.
