ged instead of gpa

I'm really interested in rushing this year... but I'm an international student and dropped out of highschool for various personal reasons, and took the GED highschool equivalency exam instead. I did get 1440/1600 on my sats and my GED scores are top 1%.
Is there some people who go through rush with GED scores instead of highschool diploma?
I never heard of anyone doing so, so I wanted to hear the facts from people who actuallu go to Mizzou.
