I've heard it's the nations biggest rush this year coming in around 2,400 girls! This is awesome and with this many girls, any house can become a fantastic house. Keep an open mind, greek life in general is so much fun!!!

I've said this before, so just a reminder. :) Quota is a function of how many qualified women go through the process. It is not based on how many arbitrary "open spots" there are in a house. New member classes could be 150 if that many qualified women went through recruitment, kept and open mind, and maximized their options.
The overwhelming majority of women who do not receive a bid are those who choose not to receive one. They drop out because their favorite houses release them. They don't list all their preference parties on their MRABA (suiciding or listing 2 out of 3).
The women who are usually released from all houses are those who may have poor grades, a poor attitude, a lack of care regarding their appearance, skeletons in their closet that make them a PR risk, are so exceptionally shy that they are unable to make a positive impression in the formal recruitment setting, are extremely awkward, etc. These situations do happen, but they are NOT the typical situation. Again, most women who end up without a bid choose to drop out or refuse to consider all houses.
Don't let the number of women signing up scare you. There are 15 houses, and you can find a home in one of them!!

Seriously just go for it. I rushed last year as a sophomore and got into a really good house. It's more quality over quantity. if you have a lot to offer and are the total package to a certain house, they will want to keep you regardless of your grade in school. Good luck!
