rich houses?
by: pnmare there any houses that mostly look for rich girls from stuff like clothes, recs, where you're from, etc? or will cut a girl they believe isn't really rich?

Not sure where you got that number but it is NOT that high. I just did it last year. There are girls that are from wealthy families in DG but there are those girls in every chapter. We also have plenty of girls that are stable but not wealthy, and plenty that have scholarships and are paying their own dues.

DG is not 5,000 a semester because finances were a big issue for me when going through recruitment, and I was able to keep them until pref day because they were one of the cheaper houses to be in...

GammaPhi is one of the cheapest houses. Most of the other houses range from 1,000-1,500 a semester (for your first year). I've heard that DG, Chi O, and Tri Sig are the more expensive houses.

That Sigma is currently the most expensive because their house was built a few years ago.

There are traditional "old money" houses, like Kappa, Theta, PiPhi and maybe ADPi, but some of those distinctions have gone by the wayside. I would categorize things more according to tasteful vs. tacky. And we all know which houses are tacky.

DG is one of the most outragously prices houses on campus. Living in house cost over 5,000 a semester and our of house is over 2,000 a semester. That doesn't mean you have to come from riches or be from a certain zip code. But you do have to be able to pay your dues.
