clothing help for rush

I understand we have T-shirts however what types of bottoms would you recommend. I literally don't own a pair of shorts that fit so I was planning on wearing capris, but idk if houses will look at me weird for going against the grain.

As for the other days, I was thinking simple Sunday Casual dress. Am I on the right track?

Sort of, you sound super confident of yourself and your style which is awesome.. But the heat is almost unbearable in shorts so I don't see how capris are functional. Maybe go get some cute shorts? Like cute chinos or printed shorts. And on the other days you wear cute sundresses.

Are we allowed to wear jean shorts? Like obviously I wouldn't wear super ripped or torn ones but are they acceptable?

Jean shorts are fine, but make sure they are cute but not distracting. I'd probably say no to high waisted shorts. A lot of girls just wear j crew or similar style shorts.

I wore a jean skirt one day and cute j crew skirt another. Also j crew has nice chino shorts but skirts are so much better with the heat!

Many retailers are showing the traditional jean miniskirt in stores this season. Especially retro high waisted "80s styles. Shoulda kept the denim ladies. haha

Skirts are great, just be careful they aren't too short. A lot of houses will have you sitting in front of a kneeling active. Please don't accidentally be flashing her while she's trying to talk to you.

Wearing skirts with the t shorts during recruitment was a great idea. It kept me cooler and it was a super cute way to wear the t shirts!ost girls wear j crew shorts or skirts, or any cute chinos. Make sure they fit well when you sit down because you will be sitting in each house. Jeans are acceptable too

You all will fit in just fine at Kappa, GPhi or APhi. Not an original thought in your heads. Are you telling us you think you are ready for college even though you need the approval of a mass audience to determine whether you will wear jean shorts?

Buy a pair of white, scalloped shorts, the kind with the elastic waistbands. They are so comfortable and are very cute, they'll look great with any of the recruitment shirts and a pair of wedges or sandals.

Can we just stop? Telling people exactly what to wear represents the worst of sorority life. Be yourself. Wear what you want. You have enough guidelines here to make the decision for yourself. And keep this thread in mind the next time you hear a bunch of GDIs saying "sorority girls are all alike."

Obviously these PNMs will take our advice with a grain of salt and adjust to their own sense of style and comfort. Keep in mind its advice, and not a rule.. No one told her what to wear exactly to the T, and last time I checked this PNM asked what to wear, and we gave her a general idea like she asked. Yes, and I'm quite aware of that sorority girl stereotype, but looking the same is inevitable when every girl has to wear the same t-shirts during recruitment. idk what your problem is...

We have never gone through recruitment and have zero idea of what the attire should be. So thanks everyone that helped and thanks for being crabby the person who said to stop helping us
