by: Dear PNMsAs a sorority member at Mizzou, I'd like to tell you that reading the posts on this website and forming opinions about houses based on this website is absolutely ridiculous. Fact of the matter is, most negative posts about a house were probably all about one girl out of 300 members. Most positive posts may be true or also may be the members trying to make their own house look good. If you'd like an honest opinion, STOP READING THIS WEBSITE. Everyone can tell you their own opinions on each house, but everyone is completely different. Just because somebody hates a house doesn't mean you won't because not everybody likes all the same things. Don't let others opinions change yours. Form your own during recruitment and pick the house that you could see yourself in and a house that shares the same values as you do. Reading some of the posts on here made me laugh because of how dramatic and false they are. So please if you get anything out of this post just trust me that if you go through recruitment with an open mind, you'll find the perfect house for you!!!

Hi! I just wanted to say that I enjoy coming on here to get advice on what to wear and recs and so on. I don't come on here to see the opinions on houses, but obviously I still do. However, I'm smart enough and am dedicated enough to finding the right house for me that I take everything I read and hear from people in person, with a grain of salt. I think that's how life is. If theres a pnm on here that believes everything she hears and gets her heart set on one house, unfortunately that's her problem and she's just setting herself up for failure with rush and in life because it's definitely a life lesson to not take everything you hear as fact and to form your own opinion. So, don't worry the girls who really want to make this work are smart enough to make their own decisions. I will continue reading this site!

I'm the same way! I like reading the recruitment advice on here and I've honestly just started ignoring many of the negative posts... I can't wait to see everything for myself in August!
