ΔΔΔ ΧΩ ΠΒΦ ΚΚΓ ΚΑΘ ΑΔΠ ΓΦΒ ΔΓ are all hot commodities of the get go. Remember ladies there are 7 other sororities and you all can't be in these 8 so keep an open mind because one, two or maybe all of your top picks might drop you. And people will judge you if you quit recruitment just because you got dropped from your favorite sorority. With the competitiveness of Mizzou recruitment you'd be lucky to be in the worst sorority on campus because over 2000 if you are competing for well less than 2000 spots in our sororities and well you do the math. Don't be that girl, don't f-ing drop because if you do you WILL regret missing out on all the experiences you could have. Waiting for COB is painful, and even if you get a bid from a sorority in the spring you'll still wish you had a real bid day. You all are signing up for rush because you want to be Greek, so go through the whole process and you will. In your cases being Greek is better than not being Greek.

No you don't... You haven't met them yet. You just have a preconceived idea of who they are because of a website and don't know these girls to say that. ΦΜ or ΣΣΣ might be your home away from home for all you know. It's girls like you who spend a whole semester, year or even their whole time in college without being Greek who act that way. I've met far too many girls who drop because they had Phi Mu and Tri Sigma on pref. all were really sad they weren't Greek. So keep being snobby, I dare you. I'm not saying you won't get your top pick, but your attitude can potentially lead you to have a less fulfilling semester. Any girl can make the most out of any chapter here and be happy, you just have to allow yourself to. I don't feel any sympathy for recruitment droppers, unless they preffed their max amount and still got cut.

When you see rush from the other side you might be able to figure it out. I'm not saying this to be rude, it's just a fact. The problem is that after the first round just about everyone wants certain houses like XO, so when everyone wants to come back the default is for the sorority to do the choosing. And they have pretty strict parameters. You are in a house with a strong sisterhood that is on its way up, so you should be proud of where you are and will make true friends as you help your house keep improving.

Before rush I wanted to be a Pi Phi, Theta or a Kappa
After the first rounds of rush I wanted to be a Pi Phi, APhi or KD
I preffed those three and I am a KD and love it!
Even though I researched my top 3 before rush a lot and fell in love with them, I still tried to keep and open mind and ended up finding my home somewhere else!
