the bottom tier: in order

Zeta: Zeta has the best of the bottom tier. They've been here the longest and are very popular among PNM's. Along with having good looks, they also place more consistently in competitions than any of the other bottom tier houses and get better fraternity pairings than the rest of the bottom tier. There isn't much to argue here. Zeta is our best bottom tier house, by the numbers, and the only people who don't agree are lower tier houses who are jealous.
Sigma Kappa: Newest house? Yes. But they've rocketed out of the last place spot in the last two years. Their Nationals finally gave them full control of their house and now they're recruiting smarter, prettier girls. They've got the biggest house on campus, have consistently beat two other older bottom tier houses for grades and are placing in comps now. Not the best one but one to watch out for.
Phi Mu: They used to be the nice girl house but not so much anymore. They've improved because they don't have to table for COB anymore but they've let other bottom tier houses beat them in grades quite a few times recently and their retention rates are a bit questionable. Not a bad house though, still a great place to go greek. They won HOCO last year. Despite what you might've heard, nobody will moo at you for being a Phi Mu or turn you away at parties.
Sigma: This house is on the decline. They've got ninety fewer members than the next smallest house, Phi Mu, and have been in the bottom for grades ever since they got here -c-

Sigma: (-c-) Their nationals are the strictest of all of our PHA houses, I know because I had a roommate who was a Sigma and they're not allowed to do mixers with frats or other sororities. They're last president was our PHA president and she wrote a scathing article about Greek Life bashing the entire system. They've given this university nothing good and they continue to fail to produce anything that improves the strength of our greek system. Don't join Sigma unless you are absolutely desperate to be Greek.

ZTA puts on a good recruitment and is able to pledge some very cute girls. However many of those great cute girls that slipped through the cracks of middle tier and joined ZTA, end of dropping. There's some serious sisterhood issues in that house and I have some close friends in that house, and quite a few ex-ztas too. The pledge classes aren't close and the house is very cliquey and divided. Anyone who has friends in zeta or friends with ZTA ex-sisters will rank them this low based on lack of sisterhood alone. Then there's the whole thing on how they treat other sorority houses. Some of them can be very rude and I've heard them in public talking badly about other houses. Any good Greek house should be supportive of other houses, not try and sabatoge them. Zetas just don't seem to care about their sisterhood and definitely don't care about anyone else's. That's why sk is always ranked over them. I would say phi mu is ranked over them too because they were able to win HC and picked up their grades, as well as recruiting cuter girls. Both sk and phi mu have better sisterhoods.

@no bias - I agree with you. Popularity wise, zeta falls flat when compared to the likability of SK and even phi mu. I can't think of another sorority that people "hate" or can't stand more. Lousy attitudes are killer, they could be a great house!

You claim SK isn't the second best house in the bottom tier but then admit that they're better than two other houses, which would put them as the second best house. So yeah, no matter what house you think is better than SK, even you've just admitted they're that high on the list. But I appreciate the attempt Phi Mu, really, it was a cute effort.

To:" No, it's right" who is obviously the OP-it is also obvious you are a Zeta. Your angry that your in the bottom tier, afraid all the pnm's will drop your house because nobody in their right mind would want to be treated like crap and have to quit. So you put yourself at the "top" of the bottom tier and then frame another house. No other house in the bottom tier cares but you.

How is Kappa Delta even on this list? When they've gotten 2nd in Greek Week two years in a row and they got 3rd in Homecoming. They are hard working, fun and pretty at the same time so that's why frats want to be paired with them. They use to be in the bottom tier and now they are easily middle tier. People get jealous when houses start to get better and do anything to see them fail. It's ridiculous.

I agree with the KD thing, they're the only house that could be either bottom or middle tier, depending on you who ask. But if you do consider them bottom tier than they're the top of it.
I'm curious why you put Zeta so low though? No shade, I just think it's interesting because I never see them so far down the list.
