new spring grade report

This list is clearly wrong. I'm an ADPi and we took new members. What is up with PHA and these screw ups?

Not all of it, but some could be explained by people studying abroad. For example, Theta only had a slight difference... Maybe because they had more girls study abroad in the fall than in the spring. I think when you go inactive for a semester you don't count towards your chapter's total.

Those are the number of members reporting grades. For any number of reasons there are houses that don't report all members' grades, such as if they have incompletes to make up or are waiting for a grade from an internship. Then there was the scandal from a few years ago when one house, can't remember which one, failed to report the grades of the new members who didn't make grades and were on academic probation. Needless to say that inflated their GPA. I'm not saying that happened this time, but I wouldn't go by the numbers on that list because it is not intended as a roster of actual numbers of members.

i was looking at the report and none of it makes sense, especially on the new member side. KD's numbers are out of whack too, 88 girls don't all study abroad or whatever at once.

Some people say that not every girl signed the form to release grades to PHA but there's no way 88 girls get left out of that. I'm a KD and our academics chair reported to PHA that we have close to 300 members, hopefully it gets fixed. And new members grades aren't required to be reported, ADPi must have decided not to report it for whatever reason.

Okay obviously this thing is wrong peopl. No house loses nearly a third of their house in a semester. No house that already has over 300 girls COBed more. And no house magically gains more girls but doesn't have a new member class. It's obviously wrong or there is a certain logistic we can't see. Stop acting crazy

If your going to put something up on Greek life that most girls will see to decide houses on, compare who has best grades and have bragging rights, it should be 100% accurate and people shouldn't be left off. Basically you can leave off your new spring class if their grades suck or leave 88 girls off your house total if their grades are bad to over inflate your GPA? Sounds like some bad accounting to me. If our pnm are going to look at this and make decisions it should be 100% correct!!!!

Has anyone figured out why the grades are so messed up and what actually happened to Thetas 88 missing members?

This list is still very wrong. I wish this wasn't happening so close to Fall Recruitment. All the PNM's will be getting the wrong information. Very frustrating.
