by: ConfusedI guess I'm just wondering if Sigma even really wants to be a sorority here. Not only are their numbers abysmal, but when the one girl wrote the article dragging the entire Greek system through the mud, all they did was defend it.

I'm sure that they want to be a sorority here, but they are probably just fed up with being targeted. I think this site has set up a vicious cycle for them. If we constantly drag them down by saying they are the weakest then how are they suppose to recruit quality girls to change that? Who would want to be in a chapter that is alienated by the rest of the system? Did anyone ever really give them a chance? I feel like we as a greek community failed them.

I understand what you're saying, plenty of sororities and fraternities get bashed on here and made it out fine. SK was at one point the newest sorority and has already surpassed Sigma, even coming from a totally new standpoint. I feel like with that article, they had a chance to say that they wanted to be a part of the system and didn't agree with everything the girl was saying, but they chose not to. They don't seem to care about anything even within their own sorority, forget the rest of the community.
