real question for you all

My sorority has impacted my life in a ton of ways. It gave me a group of people who all have the generally same values, interests and a great support system. I instantly gained more confidence, especially when you are walking down a street and can say hi to almost every single person who passes you by. Nothing is better than starting at a new school and already knowing 90 girls who want to get to know you. Of course, you have to make an effort to build those awesome friendships. Most imporrtantly it gave me an outlet to be myself and make an impact to the people around me and the community. By being in a sorority you get to be apart of so many philanthropic events with your sisters an dother greek organizations, you get to bond over homecoming and greek week stuff and most importantly you ahve a purpose that goes beyond you. Go Greek!

I came to Mizzou for journalism from 700 miles away. I knew no one. Not one person. From the first moment I stepped foot in the house I eventually joined I felt at home. My sorority is my new family, my sisters are incredible and we each have something different to offer. My sorority taught me that people from a wide range of geographic areas and backgrounds can find common ground.
