What is considered to be a great ACT score? Above 30? Above 34? Is there a uniform threshold across all houses?

It differs among the houses, but if you have a 30 or above you probably don't have anything to worry about. I had a 32 and a 3.92 at a very competitive (out of state, public) high school and survived all of the grade cuts.

I had a 27 ACT and a 3.85 and made it through all grade cuts as well
