Literally everyone knows that people drop all the time. Every single house will usually have 1 or 2 girls drop during pledgeship each year then even more over the holidays after initiation. At the very least. When it's gets to 4 or 5 drops or more, that's when you should be worried. Often times sororities want their pledges to drop quietly so they don't make the other girls do the same thing or start rumors. They don't WANT the other girls to know usually unless it's just very noticeable they are gone. Often times, it's not. I just found out we had 2 girls drop my freshman year whom I didn't even know and nobody ever informed us. Dropping is not good, so yes it's typically quiet. But it does happen.

With over 90 girls per pledge class, it's almost impossible to keep each and every one of them. But you should strive to keep the drop rate low, and as far as I know, gphi's drop rate hasn't always been very low and the girls dropping loooove to tell you about it. Just get them drunk.

If you look at statistics, gphi was allowed to pledge more new members or snap bid them, whatever you call it, than most other houses, likely because their house number was low. Like the average number every house was allowed last year was 92 or something. Some houses had more than that in order to make up for what they don't have in the house by snap bidding. gphi ended the semester with 98 members. Phi Mu had the most with 101. Tri delt had 90.... So no, I don't buy the "nobody dropped" thing...

Someone in gphi said they had no one drop this year-so maybe the other things she's saying are also not true....
