outfits
by: PnmHeyyy so I'm a pnm and I know you get a brochure in the mail before hand of the typical outfit on each day that you should wear, but sometimes packets can be like cheesy with the pictures ( not being rude at all hopefully someone knows what I'm sayin) so I was just wondering if you can tell me the breakdown of what someone would wear each day. And what shoes etc. what's frowned up. Much appreciated:)

If you are not an expert at walking in heels DO NOT wear them. Plus don't wear your "going out" heels either. Greek town is full of uneven sidewalks and each house has stairs for when they give tours. We've had girls come in with bloody knees from falling, as well as girls who have fallen down the stairs. Keep in mind blisters...Be smart.

My favorite thing was to pair the t-shirts with drapey shorts or a cute skirt! It shows style and not to mention way more comfortable than other types of shorts, in my opinion. This also shows confidence in yourself to pull it off! Overall confidence is key to shine and stand out against 100s of other PNMs so wear what you are comfortable in. Avoid super short skirts/dresses on the days where you get to choose. Wedges over stilettos because of comfortability! Also don't wear an all black dress. Rompers are cute too!

Love all the great tips here!!
You need to be cute but practical. You will be walking all over greek town in the heat. Wear something that will breathe and not chafe.
You will also be sitting, a lot, with actives sometimes kneeling in front of you to have conversations. Please don't wear anything on bottom that you aren't comfortable sitting in!! You won't always be able to cross your legs due to space limitations.

For the T shirt days I just wore cute white or black shorts, it's not worth spending a lot of money on really nice shorts in my opinion! And for the sundress days most girls wore sandals, I didn't even see that many wedges but some low ones would definitely be fine. On pref day a ton of girls wore Lilly dresses or that type-I felt a little over dressed in my Tobi ensemble. I wore all black and it was fine, people just say not to because a lot of houses wear black dresses but that's not necessarily true. The houses I went to actually wore all white, so if you have a great black dress I say go for it!

Unfortunately you won't... Typically, there is a yellow/gold shirt (b/c Mizzou) but that's all I can guarantee you! Bring neutral shorts/skirts along with colorful and printed ones, just so you're prepared for anything!
