sophomore rush
by: ?Would I have no chance at getting into a sorority if I will be a sophomore at Mizzou and already rushed freshman year but dropped?
#3 by: depends
Depends on why you dropped the first time. Was it because you didn't like the houses who invited you back? They may have record of that and not be inclined to invite you back. If you were released from many houses, is there anything about you or your resume that is stronger now, that will make them give you a second look?
If you dropped for health reasons or time constraints or something, but had good invites last year, it probably won't matter as much.
Just really think about what you have done in the past year that makes you a quality potential member. If you have good grades and were involved a bit on campus, didn't have any kind of scandals you were involved in and didn't get involved with the boyfriend of some active sorority member, etc., then you should be ok.
But you must keep an open mind!!!! Your options may well be more limited than they were last year. If you refused to consider certain houses last year and dropped because of that, you may be very disappointed to find that the same houses who released you last year will do so again, and some of the ones who invited you may release you this time around.
