pickiest houses?
by: Lil TigerCan y'all tell me which houses are hardest to get into or which make the biggest cuts at the beginning? I have the grades, activities, etc. but don't want to get my heart broken right off the bat.

A lot of girls choose not to go back to tri delt. they have less mass appeal. Houses like pi phi and chi o have more mass appeal. So no, contrary to popular belief, many girls purposely try to avoid the dramatics of houses like tri delt and Gphi. Those houses come with reputations many girls prefer not to be apart of.

People said Tridelt had a 98% return rate last recruitment so I find it hard to believe Pi phi could beat that

I don't have any statistics to back this up, but I have heard from reliable sources that Gamma Phi is one of the houses that struggles in the early rounds to get girls to come back, but in the later rounds is among the more popular. In other words, if PNMs think they have lots of good choices they don't want to wind up a GPhi. But as the week progresses and their choices dwindle, Gpi starts looking better and better.

The fact that anyone think that G Phi cares about grades...
Honestly It depends on the PNM I got cut by Chi O, Tri Delt and G Phi after the first round but was consistently asked back to Pi Phi, ADPi, Theta and Kappa.
Trust the system for the most part it does work and you will find where you belong.

"Cuts" technically are defined by how many girls want to return to a house vs. how many actually go back. They aren't really "cuts" as much as it being impossible to have as many people return to a house as want to be there. So when a house is said to "cut," it really means that you didn't appear high enough on their list to be asked back (assuming you made grades). So the houses where the largest number of PNMs want to return, but who don't, are, in order, PiPhi, TriDelt, ChiO, Theta, ADPi, Kappa.
