by: Incoming freshmanI am going to be a freshman next year and I really want to be a Tridelt. My mom was at MU so Im a legacy. I have really good grades, good extracurriculars and I am pretty good looking and skinny, but not anything special looks-wise. But I don't know anyone currently in the house and my mom isn't active in Tridelt stuff now. Do I have a good chance of getting a bid?

As far as I know for most houses, legacies have to be kept till at least the second day regardless. Good grades are always welcome in any house of course so you have that going for you. Looks wise, there's a lot of tridelts that aren't anything special. That's an incredibly overrated aspect of the house. As with most other houses, there's a handful that are very very pretty but the rest fly under the radar. As far as your mom not being an active alumni, as long as she IS an alumni, you're still a legacy and will be considered. As far as not knowing anyone goes, that doesn't matter. Let your personality shine and don't feel awkward. Tridelt is no better or worse than any other house in the top 5.
