by: MiztigerHey ladies! To any pnms turned off by the previous thread please know this page only represents about .5% of mizzou's greek life. If you posted on that page just know we understand you were unaware, and that rush is still a new thing to you. Don't worry, you will still have a fun and successful rush and I promise you are not "blacklisted" from every sorority. Once you go through ur first day of rush you will see how nice and inviting all the girls are and will have nothing to worry about! However it is a good idea not to talk about houses if you want to maximize your options so just use this as a learning experience. Also come in with a completely open mind!!! If you come in with an open mind it is likely you will not come out of rush disappointed. Anywyas im so excited to gain some new sisters and cannot wait to meet all of you girls in the fall!!

Yeah but saying how ur a chiO legacy and how you want to be a chiO so bad will likely get you cut just because other houses know it's pointless to try and rush you because you apparently already made ur mind up. Rush is all
About maximizing your options and if houses feel you have already made up ur mind on what house you want to be in then they just won't even try.

Bump!!! I promise we are not all just mean girls like this website makes us out to be. No pnms are black listed from my house so idk what other people are talking about. I hope pnms see past this and see that greek life is full of supportive and positive girls and that this website does not do the majority of us justice !

Anyone coming here assuming they will be in a particular house because they are a legacy might want to get that thought out of their mind. I know plenty of legacies that were cut this year from all the houses. Yes - even the lower ranked houses and the ones that usually take a lot of their legacies and girls whose moms or sisters were in a house here. With probably at least 2000 girls coming through in the fall, no one is guaranteed anything and every house could fill a whole pledge class with legacies if they took them all. That being said, we realize how special that legacy connection is and definitely go out of our way to get you know you. We are always excited to have you join us if it is the right fit for both of us.
