You ask to join the page and someone adds you. Any random person inside the group can add you, not just the admin. There are 3000 members for God sakes, it takes about 2 seconds to click add. All I did was ask to join and some random guy let me in. It's not that hard. Plus lots of girls have younger sisters that can accept their request. But regardless if you go on the page you can see 100s of current students are alreadly on that page. For instance a Latina sorority made up of all upperclassmen is on the page promoting their recruitment, also upperclassmen are selling their old dorm decorations on that page as well.

Sorority girls have been using the incoming class's facebook page to scout out girls interested in rushing for atleast the past 3-4 years. It's usually just to get a feel of what kind of girls are planning on rushing but it can also be negative if girls are posting how much they are excited to party in college or for example saying what house they want to rush.

This is a lesson not just for recruitment but for your next four years here. Many girls continue to get themselves in hot water even after they are in a house by what they are saying or posting on social media. We don't want to see it while you are rushing and we definitely don't want to see it if you become one of our sisters.

I completely agree! My problem that I had with it was how harsh some of the girls were being on here. I didn't say anything so it doesn't affect me it just changes my opinion honestly.

Rush IS harsh. Deal with it. Every day during that week you slap a smile on your face and go out into the world to be judged. Sometimes the people doing the judging like you, sometimes they don't. But they (or at least the best) houses are in the driver's seat and reject literally hundreds of girls. I think the person who explained this was doing a service. If you don't like it, don't go through rush. But if you decide to go through rush you'd better have a thick skin.

If you are not greek or planning to rush why are you even doing on this page? Why do you care so much about what we do??

I am Greek. I just think it's hypocritical for everyone to unite to put these pnms in their place and lecture them about being rude and disrespectful when that is exactly how we treat each other on this site every day.

The people on this site represent about 5% of greek life. There are rude and catty girls in every house. The majority of greek life is super supportive of eachother which is why we don't like it when pnms think its okay to talk about other houses. It's not okay and its rude. I do not bash houses and the majority of the greek community do not bash houses, and it's for sure not okay for pnms to bash houses.

Actives talking about houses is different then pnms talking about houses. We are already in a sorority and you are not. If what you say comes across as arrogant or rude, it's going to reflect badly on you during rush. Houses don't want that. Simple as that. If these pnms don't like it then have fun being a gdi, but you have about zero right to talk about and judge houses when you havnt even been through the process
