rec letters

I'm working on rec letters for recruitment in the fall and was wondering what an average number to have is? I promise I'm keeping an open mind but there's a handful I've already heard about and already like so should I try to get 2 or 3 for those? Also, what's a good picture for it?! i don't really have a lot of pictures by myself so could it be a dance picture? Thanks in advance for your help… I'm so excited to be apart of greek life at mu next year!
