by: CuriousJw why there are so many more frats then sororities at Mizzou? It seems as if Mizzou really needs more sororities with the number of girls rushing going up every year!

PHA has more rules for sororities on campus in general compared to IFC. Think about grades, membership quota, recruitment, parties/alcohol between the two. Theres a lot more hoops to jump for sororities to join. One of the biggest rules is that sororities have to have their house in greek town. Space is tight and there's not very much room to add another. PHA has an entire list of requirements before even considering letting a colonization start. I do think PHA should lower chapter totals and be more selective though.
