girls suck

Why is it that on pretty much EVERY sororities ranking, people say that any positive comment is self ranking? The majority of Greek women have friends in other houses, so why is it absurd to like and respect a house that is not your own? We are all sorority women. Being mean and tearing other houses down does nothing but lower your own reputation. Some of these girls are only reinforcing the negative sorority stereotype of being catty bishes. I'm in a "top" house but have friends in "lower ranked" houses. I ranked one of the lower houses and said something positive, and someone commented on it blaming "self rank." I'm not even in the house! I just don't understand, and it makes me ashamed to be a part of the MU Greek community.
