name dropping
by: ???I was just wondering how sororities feel about name dropping. Is it good or bad? And will it affect me as a pnm?

A house takes you because of who you are, not who you know. Name dropping makes you look like you are trying way too hard. If you are the real deal and have good grades, activities, leadership and personality, you shouldn't need to drop names. And, remember, you might drop the name of someone that other people really don't like. It can work against you for many reasons.
