Who could possibly care? What you have to understand is that fraternities at Mizzou don't exactly attract the cream of the crop. With the exception of one or two houses, most frats are filled with bros who care more about where their next cheap beer is coming from than attracting quality women. If you doubt me, look at how much higher the all-sorority GPA is compared to the all-fraternity GPA. Or how few leadership positions on this campus are held by guys in fraternities. To choose a sorority based on what frat guys think pretty much paints you as a loser. Most of the women I know in top houses may party with frat guys their freshman or sophomore year, but when it comes to getting serious they prefer the pre-med, accounting or engineering types who are heads and shoulders above the typical frat guy.

I couldn't agree more. How can the sorority system at this school be so competitive and attract such outstanding women while the fraternity system is mediocre at best. It doesn't make sense to me.

Perfectly well put. The "top" frats here are full of A&@holes and try-hards who are nowhere near as cool as they think they are. They cheat on their gfs and dress exactly like each other and act like they rule the school. Hint: they
don't and the best guys here are often GDIs or quieter guys in less well-know frats.
