Sigma and AXO are both in the middle tier, but yes they are both at the lower end of the middle tier. It's been especially obvious during greek week and i don't understand the big deal - noones claiming either house is top tier.

sigma isn't known for their competitive edge in GW. neither is AXO. AXO is a HC house, sigma is just....well what are they good at?? not trying to be mean, just curious. sure they're fun, what house isn't? i just don't see a diff b/w sigma, axo and kd. if anything how is kd mot mid tier when they offer more than sigma and are the same as axo?

the comment below is obviously from a kd because noone else cares why kd is bottom. we all just know they are. noone really cares that axo and sigma are middle except for lower houses,because they aren't a threat to upper mid or top houses. but if the kd wants to know why they're bottom, here's why: you're forgetable. the only time people remember you're on campus is gw and hc. you're not fun, not cute, and honestly phi mu has cuter girls. you've been sabotaging houses above you on these sites, so you're not classy either. AXO and Sigma, might be hit/miss lookswise, but both houses have cuter girls who look like they could be in top houses, both are way more fun and social. Hope I answered your question sufficiently.

Our greek system is too strong to have 5 houses in the bottom tier. Most of our chapters are top or middle for many reasons. We should be extremely proud of that!

Top Tier - DDD, GPhi, Theta, ChiO, Pi Phi

Middle Tier - Kappa, ADPi, DG, APhi, TriSig, AXO

Bottom Tier - KD, Phi Mu, Zeta

That's how everyone pretty much sees it.

ok. psycho chick that ranked sigma everyday multiple times is now attacking axo. what gives? both those houses are legit! sorry you have a personal vendetta but you really sound desperate! might want to rethink your attitude or get some serious help. I hope you're not in my house!

I go to MU so I know how it really is. This site is so screwed up. Houses that are the most desired have mean comments all over them as well as the "up and coming" houses (you know the ones making people nervous), while the middle of the road houses have all 4s and 5s. Strong word of advice to anyone looking at this site: Be VERY VERY skeptical of anything on here. The same losers from the same loser houses sit on here 24/7 and bash their competition. It really is pathetic and does not represent the rest of the 5000 greeks at Mizzou.

These ranks are so beyond screwed up. However, I guess it really is everyone's own opinion on what a "top house" is. I see it this way, and I think a lot of other people do, too:

Tri Delt, Pi Phi, G Phi, DG, Chi O

It all depends on what you value in a sorority-
If you value appearance, popularity with frats, and the more social aspects of college above all else, you are going to think tri delt, g phi, and dg should be ranked higher.
If you value academics, personal character, and involvement, you are going to think theta, chi o, kappa, and adpi should be ranked higher.
And some houses are just really hard to categorize - pi phi has a mix of both types (which may account for their very successful recruitments, year after year), and other houses just seem to have a different focus all together.
