sorority comments

I have been here for 4 years and never seen this website (and let me add that wow, people are so harsh and mean on here). But yeah tiers haven't changed much since I've been here, for both frats and sororities. There have been plenty of scandals (GPhi being one of the biggest) but a lot of houses have continued to hold their reign.

Top: Delta, Theta, GPhi, Chi O, Pi Phi.

Mid: DG, Alpha Phi, ADPi, Kappa, Tri Sigma, AXO.

Low: Phi Mu, KD, Zeta.

It's obvious which house the previous poster is in - and also obvious she has a definite agenda - sorry "yeah" but you're an idiot (which is made clear by forgeting to list DG - There are only 14 sororities)

TOP - Tri Delt, THETA, CHI O, PiPhi, GPHI

MIDDLE - KAPPA, DG, ADPI, APHI, TriSIg, AXO

BOTTOM - KD, Zeta PHi Mu

seems to be there's a few houses that are constantly ranked horribly and wrong everyday by the same girl. someone obsessed much?

why do people keep putting phi mu under zeta? I'm pretty sure phi mu is way better than the scum of greektown zeta!

not too much difference in sororities at Mizzou. I am not in a sorority, but I have friends in almost all the chapters. And for the most part, the houses seem very similar. In fact more similar than different. If I had the financial means I would be happy to be in most of the chapters here. The only ones I would steer clear of are:

Phi Mu - because they have such a negative stigma (not their fault, it's partially the name MU (moo), but it seems a bit embarrassing to wear their letters)

Zeta - they just have such a catty reputation, and I know all the girls in the house aren't psycho, but it can't be just a few with that rep of theirs.

Theta - Great girls in Theta, don't get me wrong. I just think that house would have soooooo much pressure to constantly be successful and a 4.0 - I want some fun too.

Delta Gamma - I only say this because the girls I've met in this house are the most one-dimentional type of girls I've ever met with nothing to back it up.

I agree that there's not too much difference in the chapters here, and it just depends on what you're looking for. There's a certain type of girl who chooses Theta, Chi O, Kappa, ADPi, and Pi Phi. Others prefer chapters like Tri Delt, G Phi, DG, and A Phi. And many of the same type of girls end up in KD, Tri Sig, AXO, and Phi Mu. I don't know about Zeta - I hate to say it, but they're in a "class" all their own. Really, if you look at where girls go for pref, you would see a lot of overlap.

I also agree there isn't a noticable difference in the chapters. If a girl didn't have her letters on, most people would have no clue which house she's in. But I respectfully disagree with the comment below grouping houses to a certain type of girl. "There's a certain type of girl who chooses Theta, Chi O, Kappa, ADPi, and Pi Phi. I had Kappa, ChiO, and TriSig on my final day. And most girls I know had the same mixture. There's even a thread on mgg where people list their final 3 and those listings support the similarities in many of our chapters no matter the tier. The groupings you listed below are not accurate.
