When going through recruitment keep an open mind. You may fall in love with a chapter that you would've thought you never would if you keep your mind closed. Every chapter is unique in their own way and have their own strengths. Go where YOU think you can be a leader and find life long friendships. Don't let the comments on this page discourage you from joining a chapter YOU want to join.

Absolutely! Chapters move around, up and down from tier to tier every year, so whatever you do, DO NOT base your selection of a house based on where the house ranks or where you think it ranks this year. There are too many examples to list, but here are just a few from the past 3 years - APhi used to be a bottom 3 house, now they're solid middle. Theta has went from lower-mid, to top, back to mid. DG has went from top 3 to mid, Phi Phi has went from mid to top, and so on and so forth. Basically, every year things change - that's the truth. So you'd better like the house you choose, and the women in there, and choose for the right reasons. I promise you WILL be happy there. If you pick a house based on a ranking, you'll be miserable and most likely drop. Or your house will drop in the rankings and other houses will pass them, then you'll regret your choice since it was only based on the ranking in the first place. Food for thought.

Tiers and rankings and anything mentioned on here is just OPINIONS of others... And Generally someone who post on here has an agenda to try to make their house look better. Be wary of houses listed "top" over and over again. Anyone can rank or comment on here.. Even those who aren't Greek!

Stay True 2 U - actually nailed it and seems very genuine (English usage aside:)). I personally have friend/friends who pref their house from their final 3 choices based on "thinking" they were picking the "better" house, and at the time it might have been true. But as its turned out, at least for a few of my friends, the other 2 houses had unbelievable recruitments and moved ahead of her house. Yes, she still made some friends in her house, has stayed in her house, but constantly says she regrets her choice. She considers girls in one of the other 2 houses her best friends, goes out with them all the time instead of her sisters, and is now planning on rooming with these girls after living in house. I've heard it from her as well as other greek friends who wish they would have not worried about rankings, because they didn't matter anyway when they changed immediately after recruitment or the next year or the next.

Most girls are extremely happy with their choice.. Even if they don't always realize it at bid day! All houses are good and everyone usually finds there life long friends from their house. Since all the houses have so many girls all types of girls are represented in each house! Also tiers and ranking are only talked about on this site only! So don't base your choices off this anonymous website! It is really just opinions of those who stalk this site.

All the chapters are very similar in one way or another. So one really good recruitment can skyrocket one house, while a very poor recruitment can plummet another. Good recruitment or Bad recruitment still = lots of quality girls in each pledge class. There's a reason 400-500 girls did not get into houses last year. The houses are all pretty to very selective, depending on what they're looking for. Prettier girls to help their looks, smarter girls to help their grades, athletic girls to help them in competitions, just all-around girls to continue a strong tradition - really PNMs you don't know what each house has set their sights on this year. And that's why you should be very open - plus every house really does have every sort of girl from prom queen to introvert.
