the problem with mizzou "tiers"-
they focus just based off looks and not involvement, grades, etc.
theta, adpi and kappa is wayyyy more involved than tri delt but tri delt is higher because they're hotter?

honestly mizzou's rankings biggest flaw

I'm preparing for RUSH 2012 as an incoming freshman and i really hope not all sorority girls act like this....

are there 5 bottom houses? there are 3. and this year that will be Phi Mu, Tri Sig and SK
everyone knows this for fact.

I think there is a real possibility that Phi Mu might move into the same status as AXO, ZTA (though better looking) and maybe KD after recruitment this fall. They have a lot more respect from girls in other chapters (which can turn into suggestions about which bid to accept, right or wrong). Sigma...no hope. Sorry. Sigma Kappa: If they become something like Sigma Kappa at UCM and MSU, looks like we are going to have a chubby girl sorority.

What round are cuts made on grades and/or ACT scores? I heard it is after the first round, is this correct? Also, will some sororities cut girls if they have a high gpa but a lower ACT score?

Will Sigma Kappa even have a house?

yes, sigma kappa is taking back their old house. aka pi kappa phi.

Biggest cuts are usually after round 2 (...though round 1 can be brutal). Can't speak for all houses, but a higher GPA will probably offset the ACT score (unless totally horrid). If you are a sophomore a higher GPA will definitely offset the ACT (...though some different disadvantages for being a sophomore).

quit with the drama, you all know where your house stands, embrace it. quit self ranking or bashing others just to get ahead. tiers will be this way until we see how everyone does in recruitment:

TOP : chi o, delta, pi phi, kappa

MID: theta, adpi, gphi, aphi, dg

BOTTOM: axo, kd, zeta, phi mu, sigma

theta, gphi, adpi are NOT TOP, KD and AXO are NOT MID

and for heaven's sake DG may suck but they're not bottom tier.

Thanks.

Dear Drama:
Please stop trying to start it. Your "tiers" are just that YOUR TIERS.
As far as I am concerned, sororities can move up or down in the rankings, & success or failures can move you up or down dramatically, & quickly. The list you provided below is old and antiquated. It is so static because all houses want desperately to cling to their spot, hoping against hope they remain where they are (Top or Mid) or they are hoping to move up, but no one will "let" them. (Phi Mu, anyone?)
Only girls who are threatened or insecure post nasty things on here to make sure improving houses "stay in their place". DG does not "suck". They have been rumored to be working through a few problems. Best of luck to them. (How ladylike of you to have talked about them like that.)Theta and ADPi are seen as upper tier houses, depending on who you speak to. KD and AXO are seen as mid tier, also depending on who you speak to.
It's the poster below that needs to let go of the "old" list, & the drama.
