just took a tour through greek town with some graduating seniors (i'm attending mu next year!) sill sigmas new house be done by then? that should help them in recruitment! I'm a leg to aphi, chi o, and dg I believe. But I have lots of friends in theta, axo, and gphi. My friends told me the best thing to do is go in open minded! can't wait!!!

This is going alone with some of the older comments from before, but if I have a low gpa does that ruin my chances of getting into a sorority or would they look past it if they liked me? I didn't realize grades were so important and I completly blew off my senior year. I have between a 2.5-2.6 too. Has anyone gotten into a house with lower grades or know of people that do? I plan on putting in much more effort for college, I have gotten MUCH better grades when I tried harder, I really want to rush!

there are some houses that have lower gpa requirements. I know for a fact one is APhi. Most houses will want at least a 2.8 though, some other houses have higher requirements like delta and theta which I want to say is over a 3.0
it just depends. can't hurt to try! good luck.

I don't think ACT is near as important and a 24 is a decent enough score so it won't hurt you. GPA cut off is set by the chapters. And in some case national's and the chapter has very little control over that. Every house (including ChiO and Theta) will take grade risks. However usually you need to be outstanding in some other area. Not sure the standard cut-off but it is generally over a 3.2. .. Some may be less though.
