What are the grade cutoffs for each house during rush. Are some higher than others?

And to incoming freshman... Not all this stuff is true on this website.. however the following is true.. Every house has a grade cut off. Generally the lowest gpa a house would take would be 2.8 but you'd have to have a hell of a connection or personality during rush to get through grade cuts with a bad gpa.. Most houses want at least above a 3.3 with girls that offer something to the house. So many girls go through rush that you really have to prove why you stand out so they remember you and remember why they want you!

And just to add to that just because you have a stellar gpa and stellar involvement doesn't mean you will get the house of your choice or a house at all. I know some girls that had really great academics and involvement that didn't get the house they wanted. Not to scare anyone but some girls unfortunately do fall through the cracks.

How do they know our act grades? Can't you just lie on the registration sheet?

Transcript is required to go through rush! You must send it in by a certain date. If you are caught lying... Well I wouldn't suggest that!

What about act scores? Do you send official ones too?

You don't send act scores, so I guess you could lie. That's really not the right thing to do though
