pairings matter a lot to whoever asked. so if you are a freshman coming through recruitment it will matter a lot but only for that semester bc as a freshman you spend the most time with your fraternity pairing. every semester you get a new pairing

I would say it matters the most who you are paired with for hoco freshmen year. They're the first good friends you make at Mizzou.
