sigma kappa

I just saw the retention numbers and they confirm what I've suspected all along. This campus is crawling with Sigma Kappas. Does anyone know why they have the biggest house now? A friend of mine said it's because they haven't graduated a full PC yet so their numbers are skewed but I was wondering if they were still allowed to overbid quota or what the deal is.

Yes because sigma kappa hasn't had a full class graduate their numbers are going to be higher! They're allowed to cob up to four years after they colonize to help get members that way once a full class graduates which should may 2016 it will even itself out!

They'd better start working on their grades. Otherwise they will be the house that takes just anyone, and no one wants to join a house like that.

no one normal joins a sorority bc they have good/bad grades. good grades won't make you any better looking

Considering the difference between the highest and lowest gpa's is .3 and all houses are well above average, I'd say the Greeks are doing pretty well! Congrats to everyone!

Yup. People are acting like Theta has a 4.0 and houses like Sigma have a 2.1 or something. It's literally fractions of difference.

Confused why "wellh" your calling out sigma kappa (w/ 324 members) and acting like they're high numbers are because they take anyone. Pi phi and Chi O had numbers in the 320's also but you didn't bring that up. All 3 houses has good retention rates and it's not due to them just taking anyone. Also agree with an earlier comment that about the bottom 6 houses grades are all small fractions away from each other.

Let's not ever confuse quantity with quality. Until SK is as selective as ChiO or PiPhi the numbers mean nothing.
