I feel like all houses have at least one. My sister is a GG and she's an axo. I'm in aphi and we have quite a few.

Honestly most Golden girls aren't in a house. Sure there are exceptions: Tridelt, ADPi, Pi Phi, Theta, GPhi, DG and APhi all have golden girls in them. But honestly the amount of work and practice you'll be doing, it'll be difficult to be committed to both unless you have an easy major. If I were you, I'd worry about making the team first before considering a sorority.

I was on GG last year and it was a blast, but an unbelievable time commitment. It was very strict (re: hairstyles, weight, attendance) and my grades suffered. Please don't let my experience discourage you though. It was an opportunity I will be forever grateful for. It's just that being able to balance GG AND academics AND being a pledge is difficult for some. I've learned that some sororities are more forgiving than others for GGs, cheerleaders, athletes, etc. Last year the sororities with the most GGs were ADPi, GPhi, TriDelt & some in DG.

Based on your comment, I doubt you even know what a Golden Girl is, much less how we get along. I've been on GG two years and it's been a blast. I've met lifelong friends and have NEVER seen any one punch a fellow GG. PLEASE!

Aphi, Kappa, and Theta have a few also...they're scattered. Some GG's aren't in houses also!
