rushing as a sophomore?

I am planning on rushing next year as a sophomore. Which houses take sophomores and which do not? Are there houses which are more open to taking sophomores? Is it a rule that some houses are not allowed to take sophomores, or is it just a turnoff to be a non-freshman? I know connections, GPA, involvement, ect. matter, but I am just asking in general. Thanks!
