historically top houses
by: 80sMy mom was greek here in the 80s, and we were talking about current houses and their reputations. She said my description of the sororities was about the same (with a few exceptions) but she said the top fraternities in her day were SAE, Phi Delt, Fiji, Sigma Chi, Pike, and ATO. Anyone heard any differently? So interesting that some of the best houses from her day don't have the same pull on campus.

My mom was a Tri Delt in the early 80s and Pops was a Phi Delt. They said the same thing - but said Tri Delt and Kappa were the top, Chi O was moving up and Alpha Phi was the absolute bottom. Most of the frats were good with Beta, ATO, KA and Phi Delt the top. I find old greek history so much fun!
