I've been reading on this site or and I'm also going to be a transfer student. And I've been told from many people that tri delt and delta gamma are both really good sororities. Does anyone know if they are opened to transfers?

You should probably go through recruitment before you make judgement class from what people tell you, or what this site says. Decide for yourself what makes a good house. You may end up hating those houses you listed.

More than likely Tri Delt will not accept a transfer. Probably not DG either.

You'll have no problem getting into DG (or some other houses like SK, KD, etc.) as a transfer. The most recent DG pledge class had a bunch of sophomore transfers. Not sure where you're getting your info, but DG was a strong house in the 80's & 90's (when my Mom & Aunt were Delta Gammas) However, they gone downhill especially over the past 5 - 10 years which is why my Mom didn't care about me pledging a different sorority.

I don't much about gamma but I do have a friend that is pledging tri and she said that people think it's very difficult to get into tri but sophomore or not you click with the girls and give off a sweet vibe and also pretty you have a good chance to get in. Just make sure your GPA that you transfer with is high

I'm a tridelt and our president transferred here from SEMO and also we had 4 sophomores in our PC this year so as long as you're a good fit, don't worry about being a sophomore or transfer!

I'm in a sorority but I was just wondering why in the heck does tri delta not take transfers especially if they transfer in as a sophomore. Like what is the difference in taking a sophomore or taking a transfer that comes in as a sophomore. It just seems crazy
