Any house that has to COB is in the bottom half of the houses. Just the way it is. The best houses do not.

Traditionally this is probably true, but not all houses that COB have to. Many houses have a range for their quota, decided by their nationals and Mizzou PHA, and they choose to offer more girls the chance to join their sisterhood in a spring pledge class.

Regardless, many times COBing is more competitive since so many girls want to join and there aren't many bids being offered.

Except for the fact that all but 1 house (or maybe 2, can't remember) COBed last year. Our old president last yr told me so after attending a chapter president meeting.
