skit night 3!!

So far -
ADPI - good, but nothing too exciting. I liked the plot.
Chi O - SO good. Their dancers?! who knew they had good dancers. but i heard from a friend that they either went over on time or didn't change their lyrics. what a shame.
Sigma Kappa - um..... what. singers were awful, even cast members looked sad.

ADPi: Pretty average, I expect better from ADPi.
Chi-O: I'm calling it now, XO is going to win the while thing. If they don't get points docked for time, heard those rumors too, they've got this.
SK: Half the cast was in body paint so I don't think they looked "sad" and the singers were fine. Better than previous skits of theirs but not the best.

SK had a perfectly fine skit last year but it's common knowledge that five houses got major points deducted for going over time, breaking rules, etc. That boosted SK up to second place, when really that skit was only worth fifth or fourth place had everyone else retained their scores without deductions.

I'm saying it was better than last years skit but it wasn't the best skit we've seen for homecoming this year, basically.

breaking rules when you have the guidelines means it wasn't a well done skit. don't act like you know the scores of those other houses that would have just automatically gotten above them .

You must be a freshmen because skit last year was a big deal because so many of the top contender houses went over time and got points off because of it. The skits that got points deducted for time they would've placed better. You can see the scores of the other houses after HOCO if your liaison shows them to you like ours did.
Following the time limit is part of the rules and those houses deserved points off for breaking those rules. But the quality of the skits that got points off was much better than SK's skit was.

yeah. i guess i like my skits to have a beginning middle and end and actually be theatre like. but i was in theatre in high school sooo. i thought the strongest last year was aphi, sk, and axo in that order. but who cares lets stop talking about last year

if sk is better than previous skits of their but not their best, what do you mean? they got 2nd last year.. soooo you're saying they may get 1st but its not their best?
