AXOs banner is awful. Thetas banner is awful.
ChiO and ADPi have top banners. Pi Phi and Phi Mu tied for third.
Tri Delts could have been good but the 3D is lacking.
GPhi and Sigma are irrelevant.

Overall: chi o, axo, and theta for sure.
Adpi is typically strong, same with kappa
Dark horse?? Could be anyone's game.
Out of the game:
Doubt SK and theta chi after sig psi drop out, theta chi doesn't have the money to go all out, and isn't fond of sk so it could be bad for the rest of the competition

Are you a freshman? banners count very little in homecoming which is probably why they didn't bother wasting time on it. I predict them in top 5 because they typically place overall. Same with chi o and theta.

It's not a secret theta chi was dissapointed with their pairing. Last year they got lucky with FH so naturally they had a better sorority. Their lack of enthusiasm for the SK pairing isn't a secret. I know quite a few theta chis and SKs, it's not "a happily ever after" type of relationship.

Maybe if they were a decent frat and worked for themselves they wouldn't have to rely on being paired with a frat who gets with a mid to top sorority.

Guys - you can't judge how a paring will do based on banners! Banners are a very small percentage of points which means, a lot of the power houses chose not to waste time on banners and are probably putting their efforts into something that will earn them more points. It's not rocket science!

It may not be worth a ton of points but it's the first impression of your pairing and kick off to homecoming. It's an embarrassment to the houses who put up terrible banners. I wouldn't want something that looked like crap in front of my house for everyone to see and judge. Sometimes the first impression is the lasting impression and an indication of how everything else will look.

Here's my question, if the banner is "so easy" then why doesn't every banner look amazing? It's just laziness. I'm sorry but even our most competitive houses must know that the separation between first and second is usually a few points, I think last year it was a two point separation or something. Houses that don't take every aspect of homecoming seriously certainly aren't trying and frankly, aren't in the homecoming spirit. And I think that's sad.

The "disappointment" comes from Theta chis perspective. Maybe SK thinks everything is ok, or is just trying to cover up the awkwardness, but theta chi isn't happy. At all.

And that was when Theta Chi was the small house in our pairing. They weren't even doing the most work or putting in the most money and they still made life hell. I cannot imagine what Sigma Kappa is doing with just them, not having another house to fall back on. I'm surprised Sigma Kappa hasn't quit out of frustration yet to be honest.

It amazes me how warped people's ideas can get. It doesn't matter which houses like each other and what not. This is Homecoming at Mizzou which everyone knows is a huge deal. During this time, people are trying to put their best foot forward with their pairing to compete with other amazing houses. If Theta Chi isn't putting any energy toward their time with SK, it's hard to tell because their banner is actually put together really well and we'll just have to see how every house competes as the week goes on. If houses don't get along or work hard together I think it will show in fling, house decs, and float- not rumors about how cheap or lazy they are.

The SK banner was made by SK's banner chairs and their committee. Theta Chi didn't do anything, that's why it actually looked good.
