a little help

The jerks who stole the sandwiches from Zeta's philanthropy should donate $$$$$!

I plan to bring it up at chapter. I think this is a good way for the Greek community to work together and be supportive. Props to the people who bought a sandwich and a special thank you to those who accepted the fact that the sandwiches ran out with grace and understanding. It wasn't a good situation, but these things happen. Can't understand why people would use this unfortunate situation to rag on a sorority that already feels bad about the whole thing.

I think people are upset for how zeta handled it. They didn't tell anyone that they ran out of food and continued to sell tickets which is deceitful. I think people would have been happy to donate $5 without food, but not after being lied to about it. Just a little immaturity from zeta is all. It's expected that in college that you start to handle these types of problems with more maturity than they did.

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Phil, a man who has NEVER made a mistake in his life. Let's recap: Zeta organized a philanthropic project. It was wildly successful. They stopped selling tickets when they were aware that they likely had too few sandwiches. They had too few sandwiches because hundreds were stolen. Some people were not able to get sandwiches as a result. The vast majority have been understanding and were happy to donate the $5 to a worthy cause. And Phil and his buddies decide this is the perfect opportunity to accuse a sorority of being deceitful and immature. He, of course, can be critical because he is the only man in the universe to have never miscalculated or made an innocent error. He is a marvel. Don't you wish we knew who he was? I'd like to meet this phenom. I just wonder why he is so damn selfish.

They do, but other Greeks take the high road and will stick up for those who've been wronged, even of that house (zeta) has wronged those helpful chapters in the past. Speaks a lot about our Greek community. We can only hope that zeta starts realizing that it's ok to have other Greek relations, you don't have to go around making enemies everywhere you turn. We are Greeks, we help each other out.
