fashionable
by: curiousWhat houses have a lot of girls that dress up for class/daytime? Like don't wear lululemons and big shirts every day? Gotta say, my house doesn't dress too stylish before 8 on a Thursday.

I transferred to this campus as a sophomore from a university in the Boston area. I still can't believe how atrocious so many girls look when they go to class. It is a 180-degree difference from where I used to go to school. I don't think I will ever get used to it. I mean, I saw a girl wearing pajama pants to class! Jeez. Have a little pride.

I would love to know where all you "fashionistas" are on this campus because I don't see any of you anywhere. All of the top tier girls in my classes dress horribly just like the rest of us. The only girls who attempt to dress up in any of my classes are a pair of Chi Omegas, a DG and one Sigma Kappa in my Greek Drama class and it's probably because our professor is hot and they wanna look cute.
Seriously, is this what we've resorted to talking about? Whether or not wearing Norts will keep you from getting a good job? Pathetic.

I've been to Boston several times to visit relatives and friends at BU & Boston College. Boston people are by far the rudest people I've ever met, anywhere. Once on a packed train, nobody stood up to offer a hobbling, stooped over old man their seat. I aggressively approached a girl next to him and asked her to and she got up but acted like I was bothering her. Also saw a lady hauling her heavy grocery bags off a bus and nobody bothered to help. When you talk to Bostonians or ask for help they generally act like you're wasting their time.
How about we dress better and have a little pride and Bostonians learn some manners and learn how to act like a decent person. Dressing nice means nothing if you're rude and stuckup.
